Why should someone come to Pain Treatment Waco?

You should come to Pain Treatment Waco for the same reasons I searched out and found pain relief many years ago.  Even though I was very skeptical about low-level laser therapy, I had already tried weekly chiropractors and massage therapy for years with only minimal and very short-term benefits…and I refused to have surgery or repeated painful injections. My chronic low back pain was part of my daily life!  I was depressed and low functioning due to daily pain…until I agreed to be treated with the ml830 low-level laser therapy. My first 4 or 5 daily treatments reduced my back pain by about 40 – 50%, and with 3 or 4 daily treatments every month or two, (about 20 – 25 laser treatments over about 12 months), my back pain was finally down 90%.  Without any heavy lifting, I remain pain-free 90 – 100%. Several years ago, I began teaching nursing at the local Junior College, and after developing carpal tunnel syndrome, I was treated successfully with the ml830 low-level laser, which is FDA approved as a treatment for carpal tunnel.

What is the Advantage of Low-Level Laser Therapy?

Low-level laser therapy is non-surgical, non-invasive and safe.  I am a licensed Registered Nurse (27 years), a Certified Wound and Ostomy Nurse, a Certified ml830 Laser Technician, and have been practicing in Waco my entire career.  As a Registered Nurse, I have worked with the some of the best surgeons and physicians to treat thousands of wound care patients in Central Texas, and more recently, I have treated multiple painful conditions successfully (from head to toe) with the ml830 laser.  Many of these painful conditions are life-altering unless your pain level is reduced or stopped.  Migraines, scoliosis, low back pain, plantar fasciitis and much more are painful conditions which I have treated with the ml830 laser.

Here’s what you can expect:

1.

Discuss test results and recommendations from other medical practitioners.

2.

Determine if low-level laser therapy may help alleviate or reduce your pain.

3.

You decide whether to begin laser therapy.

4.

We locate and map out myofascial trigger point painful areas, and also determine possible hidden trigger point areas which may be referring your pain.

5.

This individualized map (treatment plan) is adjusted as pain sites change or improve.

6.

Each session will last 20 minutes to one hour depending on your condition and treatment plan.

7.

During and following treatment, patients notice an immediate improvement, especially after at least three treatments.

8.

Severe and chronic conditions typically take longer (additional treatments) to gain a noticeable improvement. As an example, the recommended treatment plan for carpal tunnel syndrome is 3 treatments per week for 5 weeks, HOWEVER, I have treated carpal tunnel where the patient received so much improvement after 5 treatments, that she decided to stop treatments “due to no pain.”

9.

The therapeutic effects of low-level laser therapy (are additive) … each additional treatment supplements previous laser treatments with additional healing benefits.

10.

Our goal is to eliminate or reduce your pain with as few treatments as possible.

11.

Most patients experience dramatic results in 5 to 15 treatments depending on the severity of their condition.
